Winter Waterfall Walk from the house

Angon Waterfall (cascade d'Angon) is a 40 minute walk up above the house, through the woods. On Sunday, with a gaggle of 5 pre-teens, and temperatures just above freezing, we decided to cheat. So we drove up to the village of Verel and parked there. Then the girls just had to walk down about 10 minutes to the waterfall, and another 20 minutes down to the house. The waterfall was absolutely spectacular (the two figures to the right of the picture should give you an idea of the scale) although the metal protective barriers were very chilly to grip on to with no gloves!
